The upside is that I found that some genius zoomer registered an account with my email.
The idiots at Tiktok apparently do not verify email upon registration, so you can use anything when you register.
Imagine my surprise when it told me that I already have an account.

The zoomer who used up my email to register his account is from another country, so it could now be geo-fenced into not displaying US stores to me.
I cannot express enough how low my opinion is of TikTok engineers right now.
The entire effort probably goes into spying and tracking.
