I returned this one because the color performance is really bad. The blues were so faded they looked purple at best. Noticeable even with Google Docs / Slides. Made for second guessing color coded tables and stuff for productivity. I picked up a $60 no name monitor and it does a lot better.

While it has 4.3/5 reviews, if you're at all particular about color or brightness, this probably isn't the unit for you (based on the reviews).

Yeah. I have this. I wish it were brighter. I can live with it but am looking for something else and will relegate this to be a backup

Note that you need to power this device. I have a $100 AOC I got a few years ago that has 1 port, hook it up to the laptop, power's on the screen and transmits the video. If you're getting something for travel and this is the main purpose, look for that. I travel and need multiple monitors whenever I work, this is a lifesaver.

Paying more for the same quality of the no name guys. Was looking for one I could use as a second screen to my iPad Pro. Couldn't cut it due to resolution conflict. Will have to get a 2 or 4k portable monitor.
