Is there a way to hack it for just the combo kit for 124.99 or do you have to purchase the battery with it and return the battery later?

Well you can do pickup at multiple locations and either not pick up the battery or ask for it cancelled via chat. Only thing was last time I did it via chat the associate tried to say I couldn't when I've done it before. So either way you can just pick up the kit and not the battery.

I jumped on it few days ago. FYI, if you have Menards in the area, HD will also do 11% rebate on items purchased or ordered in store. Google home depot 11% for the site.

I assume by the hack, ppl mean we can get just the drill and driver for 124 and not pay 175 to get the whole set.

How is it done ?

Will they include one battery with the hacked set ?

Won't work on Milwaukee though. Only works on products Menards and Home Depot both carry.

Not sure. I just submit all of my receipts, some get approved, some dont. I dont really keep track of it TBH.

Switch to combo kit only, then add the "free" battery and add to cart. Set the combo to the store near you and set the battery for pickup at another store nearby and checkout. Immediately go back to the order and cancel the battery- the combo kit will be prorated to a lower price. You can also just order both to the same store and return the battery after pickup or still set it to separate stores and just never pick up the battery - they'll cancel it after about 1 week.

You can only go so small before you start having to sacrifice power/speed, and this gen 3 impact doesn't sacrifice either.. in fact, it will outdo many of the 18V impacts out there.
