Thanks. Bought the 100 for for the corded leaf blower and hedge trimmer. Should be plenty at this rating of a cord I hope.

I just bought two 50 footers. Don't know if that's frowned upon.
50+50=100
100/2=50

The math checks out. I think you should be ok

Good deal. For those that have home generators, you should be looking for 10 gauge if that is what you were considering this for.

Yellow Jacket and Southwire the same quality? My extension cord expertise is lacking.
They are very similar in quality. Both are well made, you will be happy with either brand.

The extra connection will marginally increase the impedance and thus voltage drop at higher currents. If you require the full load capacity, you are better off with a single 100'.

Is the 100 ft cord a slick deal? Really need one for my electric blower.
According to my amazon history, I bought the 100' back in 21 for $30. I think I remember some sort of slick deal wayyy back then. However, in this day and age, the price is solid. It is also a very well made extension cord, and I use it for my electric edger, which is my old non-battery powered tool left. I also ran my miter saw on it when building my kids playhouse. Oh, and I also use it for my pressure-washer, which is electric. All use cases, it held up like a champ. Thing carefully about which size you want though, because the 100' is large, and a pain to roll up. If you can get away with 50' and that is all you truly need, then you might want to choose the smaller size.

TLDR Price and quality wise, this is a SD.

I think the orange one we have is a 16/3 from HF. The thing already curled up (could be from overheating). In for a 100ft
