Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
For anyone that is considering this or the Amazon deal and doesn't already know the way the subscriptions work is very different.
With Amazon you are buying the subscription through Amazon and they manage it. Once you link it to your Adobe account your account at Adobe will list this subscription and say "managed through Amazon".
Also it will not stack with any subscription you already have. They will run concurrent.
The Newegg deal is much more straightforward and easy to deal with. Newegg sends you a certificate that you redeem in your Adobe account. The certificate will stack if you are already on the same plan. And, right now anyway, the Newegg deal is cheaper.
I made the mistake last year of using Amazon thinking it would be like buying the subscription from any other retailer. Never again.
If you're someone like me who has been using the standard Photography plan (20GB) through deals posted here every year, I can confirm that it doesn't extend that. Instead, you end up with two concurrent plans: the Photography plan (20GB) and the Creative Cloud Photography plan with 1TB.
Thanks. I just saw some Newegg reviews saying you could use it to extend your current plan. Not sure if that's still accurate. I guess either way would work fine, so I'll probably grab this. Cheers! Nice username btw lolol
My understanding is that you cannot extend the 20gb plan with this so you'd need to let your plan expire and then resubscribe.
If you have the 1TB plan, I think you just could extend that.
From CanonPriceWatch: "Note you cannot 'extend' an existing 20GB plan subscription by purchasing this as they are considered two separate subscriptions."

So you're saying wait for the 20GB plan to end in the next few weeks, cancel that plan, and then apply this code for the 1TB plan?
Very interesting that the 1TB is on sale, not the 20GB. Oh well.
Yes but this is cheaper than the 20GB plan. This deal that seems to come up annually is what made me switch over. I had been paying $120 a year or the 20GB plan previously. Then I realized that for the same price (or in this case cheaper) I could get the plan that Adobe charges $240 a year!
If you are on the 20GB plan now just hold on to the certificate until you get close to renewal then add it to your account. Your account page will indicate the two subscriptions as being active so be sure and cancel the 20GB plan before it renews, As long as it is in the same account everything will go smoothly.
I bought this deal last time, Newegg, but it didn't activate as I'm in a 20G plan. I am waiting for it to expire in March 2024.
Can I buy this and activate it later?
