Amazon is $1 less than wyze.com with prime payment, but OG seems stop recording if internet down. Their programmers are so dumb.

Prob cost less to manufacture and maybe less build quality, they do feel of less quality but (I have around 8 setup) they do load 3x faster in app, have an LED light, slightly louder mini siren and the mic/speaker 2way audio is better than V3.

Only cons is not having cam lite as all new cams from now on but thier $89 per year unlimited cam plus plan for 99 cams is worth it IMO

Hmmm..their website says v1 to v3 are all eligible for cam plus lite. Did they lie? Is OG different from v1?

I meant all new cameras after the V3... so the OG, OG: Telephoto, V3 Pan, and any new camera that gets released.

V1, V2 both regular and Pan are older cameras which are discontinued and not worth it at all with the new model selection available.

How come my Wyze exterior cam has free clip (short clip) recordings available for a week. I think it was V3 purchased from amazon in Jan 2022.

Because it's one of the older models that are still supported by the Cam Lite plan... you can see it here: https://www.wyze.com/pages/cam-plus-lite No newer cams after those (the last one was the V3) will support the free Cam Plus Lite

What cameras are currently compatible with Cam Plus Lite?
Wyze Cam v1, v2 and v3, Wyze Cam Pan v1 and v2, and Wyze Cam Outdoor. We need a little more time to make Cam Plus Lite compatible with our video doorbells.
