Amazon is $1 less than wyze.com with prime payment, but OG seems stop recording if internet down. Their programmers are so dumb.

Prob cost less to manufacture and maybe less build quality, they do feel of less quality but (I have around 8 setup) they do load 3x faster in app, have an LED light, slightly louder mini siren and the mic/speaker 2way audio is better than V3.

Only cons is not having cam lite as all new cams from now on but thier $89 per year unlimited cam plus plan for 99 cams is worth it IMO

I am going to make a camera system which runs on a internet service that a person pays for. This camera system will use local DVRs and storage and be fully capable acting stand alone. Then I'm going to gimp the system and make sure that you don't get all the features unless pay a monthly fee.

Seems evil right? Wait that's what they all do. Latom.

somebody tell me where the cameras that feed into a local Nas, and can be accessed via IP address in a prcbusable app are, where I can have everything stored on my own cloud and never have to worry about paying for any middleman again...

well except for my ISP but that's a real service not an artificial one...

Anyone have both OG and V3/V2 and can check which one sends notification faster? (or they're all the same).
I use my V3 to monitor garage door open but I usually receive notification like 10-15 seconds late even if I set sensitivity to high.
If notification from OG is faster, I'd buy one for this purpose

Shouldn't your outdoor electric enclosure be weatherproof by default? You don't have exposed outlets out there. Not sure what the issue is here.

can you display more than one camera with this on screen? eufy only lets you display one camera on the screen and i use it as a nanny cam.

For outdoor use, what's ylthe best option for a power source? Need an outdoor type of camera right above driveway garage to monitor thefts. It wouldn't be practical to have a power
cable coming from inside house through window

About the same speed. I have a og and v3 pointing in my alley that alerts any time a car goes through. (Disabled the og alerts later to reduce spam) I will say the v3 with person detection does seem to miss less things, esp people. (Though its garbage at detecting an actual human, my neighbors 15 lb dogs sometimes get detected as a person)

The app lets you group cameras and up to 4 can be actively streaming on your screen at a time.

As I didn't see it mentioned in earlier posts, if you have Amazon Prime you can order this directly from the Wyze site for the $14.99 price with free shipping with no minimum. You just have to click the "Buy with Prime" button. This is cheaper than I could find when searching directly on Amazon. I bought one Cam OG and one Cam Pan v3 just to play around with. Total was $39.98 + tax shipped. Sorry if this was already mentioned.
