Is this too bulky or "powerful" for building a PC and taking apart tech? I know nothing about power tools but I do plan to build a PC and I think having a quality set of tools will be nice.

You might be able to make it work but I wouldn't. Just get a nice ratcheting screwdriver where the bits are built into the handle for easy access. Project Farm did a good comparison on YouTube with various qualities to look for.

I have a similar Ryobi with USB-C charging and it's great for tech and more. I'd be careful and ease off the trigger at the end because it's definitely strong enough to strip screws if you go full blast all the way.

I think you could use something like this under certain circumstances to speed things up, like fastener removal. You might want something slimmer (could use longer bits instead), but either way, it would be better if it had torque settings for when driving fasteners in delicate areas.

There are long slim powered screwdrivers marketed for electronics, but I don't have a lot of experience with doing that type of work, nor whether a long slim design would work better than a pistol grip style. I could see pros and cons with regards to clearance with either design.

We use these for removing laptop screws. They go through AAA batteries, but nothing that cycling through AAA rechargeables couldn't remedy.

I purchased one of these from the last deal and really thought it wouldn't be that great but I was surprised.

My friend had brought an expensive rechargeable driver to use but went ahead and tried this first and ended up using it for the entire project of assembling a rabbit hutch.

That Skil was powerful enough to drive and properly seat all of the screws and still had power left.

We both were impressed with it.

I'm getting an extra one as a backup so that I'll always have a charged backup

I have this and just ordered the Milwaukee from HD for $59 including 2 batteries. Skil: 4V, 220 RPM single speed, 0.85 pounds, no clutch, 36 inch-pounds of torque, built-in battery, magnetic chuck. Milwaukee: 12V, 0-500 RPM variable speed, 1.95 pounds, 16-position clutch, 175 inch-pounds torque, swappable battery, quick-connect chuck.

The Skil is surprisingly useful but I wanted a clutch and variable speed. I expect to continue using it for small jobs. The magnetic chuck isn't quite strong enough and the bit often sticks in the screw head especially with square or star drive screws.

Neither are really a drill but the Milwaukee does the job in a pinch due to higher RPM. If I could only purchase one for around the house, it would be the Milwaukee. If you can't pick up the Milwaukee for $59 on Black Friday, I'd probably be tempted to go with the Skill for $16. I don't think you'll regret either.
