not a great processor. It is good enough imo but effectively 2 generations old.
1. Can confirm it has a touchscreen.
2. Laptop was in a nice zippered soft carry sleeve
3. Laptop looks & feels brand new. No signs of use at all. I went over every part of it, and the only thing I could find was a tiny hairline scratch next one of the feet.
4. Very fast, especially compared to my old 6-gen i5 Thinkpad.
5. Has some bloatware, need to uninstall.
Overall, great value for the money. Very satisfied.

Edit - I don't need a touch screen.

Great deal OP!
There is also a version with i5-1235U for $300 ($270 after 10% off) but with 8GB RAM & 256GB SSD.

Ordered that but this looks better will have to return.

I5 1235u vs ryzen 5 7520u.... Tough choice. i5 is arguably better but worth the trade off of more ram, and larger SSD?
In the end, wanted to stay under $300 as this laptop is only for regular home use like browsing, streaming and maybe light word processing. So decided that the bigger RAM & SSD is more important than processing power. Currently using an old Dell with a 6th gen i5, so this Ryzen is more than sufficient. Placed my order.
Also looked at the Dell Inspiron 15 3520 Laptop deal with the i5 for $291 new from Dell. Has the same 8GB RAM (but DDR4) and 256GB SSD. But this Acer has DDR5 RAM, USB-C (including display & power) and WiFi-6. Plus some were saying that the i5 on that Dell is 'gimped' and cannot get its full potential.
So.... back to Acer Aspire. Unless something better pops-up over the next week. I find that the best deals usually show up after the Black Friday & Cyber Monday craze.

The Acer site says no, but it does have a touchpad?
