not a great processor. It is good enough imo but effectively 2 generations old.
1. Can confirm it has a touchscreen.
2. Laptop was in a nice zippered soft carry sleeve
3. Laptop looks & feels brand new. No signs of use at all. I went over every part of it, and the only thing I could find was a tiny hairline scratch next one of the feet.
4. Very fast, especially compared to my old 6-gen i5 Thinkpad.
5. Has some bloatware, need to uninstall.
Overall, great value for the money. Very satisfied.

Edit - I don't need a touch screen.
On 289.99 ~290 base price, 2% would mean a price increase of ~$5.80
The only place I could find info on that was on the Newegg page for this product. It says 3.92 lbs. I believe this is the same model number.
It seems odd that Acer doesn't seem to have the manual for this laptop in a place online that's easy to find.
(Update - and I just realized that the specs on the Newegg page don't show units for the weight. I guess prob safe to assume pounds, but I can't say for sure.)

I hope this laptop will be decent to good. My current laptop is a 4 1/2 year old Acer Aspire 5 with an 8th generation Core i5 and a crappy 1080p display that surely can't be IPS. The touchpad sometimes stopped working since I upgraded to Win11.
Gonna miss the Ethernet port and that third Type A USB port. At least the USBC port can do charging and video and the HDMI port of my new laptop can do 4k@60Hz.
