It "went down" to $299 but by the was mostly 'sold out'. Luckily though they still price adjust for 30 days. I bought at $500 and even though it was sold out, within 30 days the online product page still showed the clearance $299.97 pricing. So I got $200 back. So for those on the fence there's a STRONG CHANCE it'll go clearance within 30 days (since that'll be past xmas) and just favorite the product page and keep refreshing every day for 30 days. If it goes down the online store will honor the adjustment without question (or at least they did for me last year)

seems good to me, but only valid on 11/23 so I missed it.
