Intel please make a single slot low profile AV1 card, just forget gaming performance for it. Even if it's a bit more like $150ish it'd still be the perfect home media server card. Only thing that would make it even better would be passive cooling.
Cheapest AV1 card on the market, and better encoding quality/speed than even Nvidia. Gaming is what it is at $100-- a 1080p card, nobody else even competes at this price range, but if youre looking for more gaming performance the A750 at $180 is worth spending more for.
This would be great for any platform (Plex, Jellyfin, etc) that needs HW transcoding.

Anyone know if this is good for self hosted Jellyfin for hardware acceleration?

Just grabbed this to pair with the acer refurb posted last week for $300 - hoping it's an appropriate match for a productivity machine - never even heard of this card.

Too bad it doesn't outperform a GTX 970, but it's a potentially very useful card at around what it should cost.

Sparkle has been around for a long time. Not a top tier maker, but they sure aren't new.

Is this better or the ASRock version?

I am looking to replace an older video card NVIDIA GTX650. It's currently sitting in a motherboard that has PCI 3.0 slot and I don't want to replace everything right now. I don't need gaming performance. I really just want to run dual monitors at 4k which my current setup doesn't support. I will be using it for editing photos and 4k video

This is an amazing deal on the perfect card for a Plex server to perform the fastest hardware based encoding and decoding...snagged one to dedicate to this purpose and free up my Nvidia card for only gaming mostly.

I wonder if that still works. The offer shows valid until Nov 30 2023.

The A380 is a awful gaming card. Good if you need the encoding ability of it.
