Each store will only have 5. Gonna have to fight others if you want one because Black Friday ain't Black Friday if you don't get into a scuffle with someone.

Wow is this a door buster? Don't think I've seen a new ps5 this low. Bet it won't actually be in stock anywhere …

I think if you have the dell + Amex deal, you're better off. $416 after taxes for a ps5 slim + Spider-Man 2 + extra controller.
Would you elaborate? The slim and spiderman deal is already $500 and the extra controller is $50. With tax, it comes out about 600. By taking out $120, it's still about 480. I guess if you also purchase the Spider man game in addition to this deal?

This deal is believable. Clearance for Sony and a doorbuster for Target. It's effectively discounted $80 compared to the bundles with free $70 games.

Target will have PlayStation Slim consoles without bundles on 12/3. It's unknown if they'll be $500 or less.

Could try talking with chat after pickup order is ready. They could be able to do pm
It depends on Target's Black Friday price match policy.

The other problem with your idea is that when you cancel the pickup one online it might not even become back available for you. So won't even have the chance to apply the circle reward coupon
This is true. I'm almost 100% positive that serialized products gets a "Return to Manufacturer" tag printed out upon return. Which is why I recommend to NOT actually accept the order, and have it cancelled instead so it cannot get flagged, returning it to normal stock.

I'm only not 100% positive because I may be mistaken for Walmart doing this.

But I have personally been BS'ed by Target and told they can't resell same item until next day, store manager's unwritten policy sorry. YMMV but best to not escalate it until you've tried with a different employee during the first employee's break/the next shift because it's super awkward when the same Guest Services Team Leader comes to address the situation both attempts.

Slightly OT, but FYI the only legitimate reason I know Target won't return/rebuy is when you unknowingly return a clearance item that met it's "salvage" cycle. System won't even let them ring the item up anymore. (Clearance arbitrager protip: Always check the DPCI instore at the store you are attempting the return/rebuy by using their own touch screen price checker, to make sure it's still in that current stores system. Do not go off Brickseek or another store's price checker down the street.)

There's so much misinformation here this applies to the disc version as well which Amazon selling now 449.99

Many stores cannot price match Black Friday deals I wouldn't be surprised if Amazon blow the price later to match Target .

You must have Target circle otherwise you can get it for the price 3:00 a.m. eastern time

Let's go hunting later .

You cite misinformation. May I counter cite very poorly written posts?

If it goes live at midnight PT, then it's can't be in-store only, right? Good luck to us! This feels like it did back when the PS5 first dropped. These will fly off the shelves.

Edit: Pro tip: add PS5 to cart now, make sure you are logged in AND all your information is correct, start hitting refresh 5-10 minutes before midnight PT.

I got the PS5+Spidey 2, extra controller, wireless charger and 64GB flash drive (needed to hit the $600 mark for the Amex deal) for $409 after taxes and the two cashbacks. And that was with the 12% because I stupidly ordered early, so should have been $391. Oh whoops, I also had an extra 5% off for military, so that will get it closer to the $416 figure. Exact numbers depend on how much your state taxes are because that determines how much you need to add to hit the $600 mark.

I remember camping overnight for the PS2 with my brother. eBay also was reasonable back then so you didn't get killed in fees and we made enough to get ours for essentially free. Nowadays a good night sleep isn't worth the 150 or so savings and reselling on eBay barely makes any profit. It really is a young man's game

Definitely. If youre older and have a decent job these amounts of money are hard to justify. A lot of SDers must be on disability/EBT etc to have time for this stuff.

you can either flip on ebay. the 13% fees makes it very hard to turn a profit and theres huge risk of returns. AFAIK it follows paypals policy which means they can pretty much return within 6 months no questions asked.

Or you can do FB market place, will probably not get as much for it, have to meet ppl in person, is more trouble.

Like for this deal I wouldn't even count the profit as 150. AFAIK PS5 new are available readily for 450 right now. On top of that why would someone buy from FB market place when they could just buy from target or BB and get 90 days returns? plus, buying 2nd hand they get no receipt. And I'm not sure how that affects consoles warranty but it might. I think particularly Sony might want a receipt if you try to get a PS5 repaired under warranty within the one year manufacturers warranty. so that reduces the value imo.

While the buyer does save sales tax which is 40 on a 500 purchase, they unfortunately tend not to consider that.

in short you'd be lucky to net 450 for this IMO, and after tax it's going to cost like 380. 70 profit. if you are lucky!

I will say when PS5 came out was glory days. I sold 3 PS5 and a Series X on FB marketplace (I had managed to get them on preorder from different retailers) and IIRC netted 1100 profit in a couple hours on my day off. I remember the wad of cash (selling 4X800+ consoles =3200) in my hand was impressive. Legendary. To this day I kick myself for missing out on selling PS5's for like a year, probably could have made like 20k. For some reason after I sold those launch units I just washed my hands of it. Didnt really think about it too much just thought they were too hard to get or the profit wasn't worth it. Should have continued! That might have been my last great flip...my best flip....lol

Game consoles aren't listed as one of the cash back categories if you check the applicable ones. Is it a different site than I'm thinking? Can anyone confirm the CB has tracked?

Consoles are under accessories, even on dell the first sub link starts at accessories then goes to the ps5. Many have already bought it with the prior 10% and 12% CB w/ no issue.
