The disc version has never been cheaper than $450 previously and even that was only a temporary price cut that they eliminated after a while.

Now if this price were available on the slim bundles and those included a PHYSICAL copy of the game then it would be a decent deal. This far into the gen the price should have already been slashed permanently by $50-100. They won't budge though as long as consumers are snapping them up at MSRP.

YMMV , but I bought this same console in late October for full price and just was able to get a price match and refunded the difference through chat. The rep was reluctant at first but helped since I am a "loyal customer" lol.. I quoted this below which was posted by a previous poster in this thread.. I was definitely lucky in this as my target sold out within an hour of opening

"Shop early, shop with confidence this holiday season. Starting October 22, 2023, if you purchase an item in store or online and the price goes lower at Target on or before December 24, 2023, you can request a price match. Proof of purchase is required for price adjustments."

If it says "Limited Availability" then there is a chance that they have some in stock. Stores around me are starting to say "Out of stock" and "No longer sold at this store".

Bought one at store, reached store at 5.59am . Door opened at 6am . There was 4 items in stock. Lady in front of me was first one to buy ps5 and I'm 2nd . All Sold in few minutes . Online says limited stock before 6am so not available for online order .Lucky
