Each store will only have 5. Gonna have to fight others if you want one because Black Friday ain't Black Friday if you don't get into a scuffle with someone.

Was able place an order when it went live but got an out of stock message. Looks like they probably sold it to someone that went in this morning. Oh well I might do the Dell promo with the 40 off 200 offer

Walked into to return pre purchased ps5 @ regular price and asked to rebuy at sale price and they allowed it. In and out in 5 mins. Saved about $180.

When you get the "pickup ready" email, does that mean Target has set one aside for you and someone can't show up in store and buy yours out of the electronics department? I don't plan to pick up mine until next week. I extended it a few days.

I know very little of PS5s. How do I make sure they give me right "disc drive" edition and not a "digital only" one by looking at the box? Is the disc drive mentioned anywhere on the box or am I looking for certain model # listed?

They have 5 in stock. Likely OOS in 2-3 hours so rush and try your luck. I'd say don't drive if store is too far from you. This won't last long.

Hell I have my launch PS5 I play daily and system sounds and plays the same as the day I got it.

Anyways enough rambling. Congrats to those to just bought one of the best deals in a long time. This is a steal for sure.
By this time in previous gens the consoles would have already seen a $50-100 permanent price drop though. It's kinda ridiculous that these are still at full MSRP and have only had a temporary price cut until this obvious fire sale on the fat model.

Got 1 (disc version) at store in LV that showed limited availability online. Arrived at store 7 mins before opening and I was #3 in line. Store had 6 available. Manager said that a lot of them were reserved for online pickup orders.
