Chatted online. Just did 'contact us' and then 'target.com order experience'. Rep connected immediately and I told him I have an item in my cart (gave him the cart # that shows at checkout) and I have a Target Circle offer loaded in my offers that says "$150 off", but it isn't applying when I go to checkout.

He said he'd take a look, came back about 2-3 minutes later, and said "we're happy to take care of this for you as a valued customer, please to ahead and place the order and I will adjust on my end after it's complete", so I placed the order and then he adjusted it down to the $350. Still even let me keep my 5% red card discount off of the original $500 price, so I got $25 off for red card.

That's it, and then I drove to the store and picked up.

I only have mine in app and doesn't say the item on it. Just total $499.99 - $25 red card - $150 partial discount.

They didn't give me a print out for pickup.

I successfully placed the order 3 seconds after 3:00AM EST but got an email this morning saying that it was out of stock. Called customer service this morning and they said that they will be refunding me the amount. There was a certain number of black friday consoles allocated to each store and warehouse and the server processed the orders by the millisecond. There will be no rainchecks or price matches.

Yeah, last I used it, my total hit the limit with tax and it worked and a couple people confirmed that here too.

But I'm always weary also. But Amex would only see total costs wouldn't they.
