I placed an order through pick up this afternoon (25th) Anyone got a luck to receive $150 off? If so, through chat or call? Did you get discounts through rep or supervisor? I did through chat multiple times but no luck.

The supervisor told me if I have proof of a receipt where someone got the discount or an order number showing the discount they would honor it for me. They gave me an email to reply to.

Was able to get fat one yesterday morning around 1:30 am when one popped up. This morning it showed store was out of stock. Let me choose another store. I ended up finding one and changing, come to find out store three hours away, went on chat and they canceled order let me order new phat Spider-Man bundle with discount of $150. Yay!

What are the chances I can return and rebuy my $350 slim in store so I can use paypal? I messed up and forgot to do so earlier and I'd say another 3%.

No luck tonight with CSRs letting me order another for that reason, I gave up.

Worst and best slickdeal ever. Worst cause it was just so time consuming. I didn't even want a PS5 but at 350, yes! Ordered at 12am and canceled in the morning. Chat offered me 50 bucks off next purchase and bought a controller with it. I tried asking for the spiderman bundle a few times, but kept getting no. I pretty much had given up trying on my acct, so I used my girls acct with a long positive purchase history and somehow got the MWIII bundle price matched first try. Lesson being target cs makes decisions based on your purchase history. Don't haggle or call chat 20x hoping for a new response.

Successful pickup at Colma Target (SF Bay Area). Was trying target app randomly all day, then in the evening around 9pm, "pickup" was available at this location, and the order actually went through. Much to my surprise, this morning I had an email indicating it was ready to pickup. Walked out this afternoon and happy PS5 owner. Thanks OP!

This happens at Target more often than you think. Last time was the switch deal. People were literally getting switch lites for free and discounts on random bundles. Or the buy get one that was supposed to be a Keychain. Ppl ended up getting any switch game they want for free. In every case They could easily told everyone 100%, but it's clear they want to satisfy ppl.

I don't get why anyone was afraid. Once target gave u the discount they were not taking back the discount or canceling for no reason. Ppl were able to get similar item's when phat ps5 was out of stock.
