Good deal, but the 1370P can be a power drain.

This one is 12th gen. processor but still performance cpu can impact power. (28 W vs 12W on i7-1255u)

Are these the same laptop? This one on Ebay seems to have the same/similar specs and is $1030: https://slickdeals.net/f/17047318-lenovo-thinkpad-x1-carbon-gen-10-laptop-i7-1270p-vpro-14-touchscreen-1920x1200-32gb-ram-512gb-ssd-1030-free-shipping?page=3#commentsHeader
Yes, it's the exact same one.
However, this is from Lenovo directly so it MIGHT be combined with Amex, id.me, and/or cashbacks for more discounts.

Intel 14th-gen Meteor Lake processors are about to launch, although it'll probably be spring before they're in ThinkPads. Intel promises much better efficiency, although performance is not likely to be a big jump over 13th gen.

Regardless, at this point I would not pay $1100 for an X1 Carbon with 12th-gen P-series processor, unless you're in need of a space heater.

12,13,14 have no marginal performance improvement.

The issue isn't performance per se, it's that the P-series processors have a lot of heat, fan noise, and throttling.
