Will the cam plus lite be free for ever? Or will they change it to subscription model ?

Thinking to buy this only cos of cam plus lite but not sure if it will be available for the life of the camera or not...

I bought 8 of the refurb ones from woot. The only problem I had was that I forgot to cancel the free trial. They charged me $30 for a month based off my 10 individual camera plans, instead of just rolling it into the $9.99 unlimited plan. Had they automatically switched it to $9.99 since I had many cameras, I would have continued the plan, but they didn't want to remove the charge and switch me to the unlimited annual plan. I guess $30 for one month and finished is better for the than $100 per year and keep renewing. 🤷

I had to turned off my two v3 for a month due to some reason. Once I turned on the cameras again, I lost cam plus lite feature. I can only get still photo on the Event time mine. However, CAmplus lite is still intact in the another canera which I never turned off.

Probably, but then again Wyze is moving more and more free features to the subscription plans. At least each cam has an SD slot, so you should be able to always read from the SD card for free. I can't see them blocking that out. It would a terrible business decision. All hypothetical.

So you put a 32gb Microsd into each camera to save videos?also if it's outdoor and wired, an issue finding are useable and close by power source
