It unlocks a lot of features that the stock app doesn't have. Tracking and waypoints are the main features. Being able to set waypoints in advance (including camera direction) from the comfort of your couch and then going out to the location and pressing 'play' and watching the drone automagically navigate your waypoints is absolutely magical. At this price it's a steal.

Gives many more features vs DJI app, like waypoints. I use it with my mini 2 and it's awesome. Just remember if you crash wile running it you won't have the flight logs DJI requires for warranty claims if it was drone error and not pilot error. But the mini 2 is dirt cheap now and the benefits of using this for the features is worth it.

Thanks for this info about logs. My mini3pro is still under warranty and i bought the extended warranty also, so i'll hold off.

My use is 100% photography, I never fly preplanned routes, I don't do follow me, etc. From what I have read there is no reason for me to own Litchi as it does not stitch panos as well as DJI Fly. Am I missing a reason to still buy it?
