Golfing for 20+ hours?! Doubt that's cheaper. How much is a 2-3 day pass skiing?

I guess I don't understand why anyone would pay $400 plus for Lego's. Sorry to be negative.

Many of the UCS sets have been better investments than the stock market over a 5-7 year period. The value tends to plateau, but once a set is retired, it usually becomes worth much more than retail.

I see. Interesting investment move. I guess short-term investing in this might make sense but long-term IDK. I have a lot of airmail postage stamps and baseball cards that once brought much higher amounts.

You can either put it together or leave it in a big pile of pieces and both would be accurate representation of the ship from the show.

$400 is cheap for an adult hobby. But of course it is not for peasants.

biggest shocker in disney star wars... they trashed something that would sell products for years to come.

I've handled this set a couple times (built) - its one of if not the most impressive UCS sets ive seen. The scale and level of detail are perfect. Truly an awesome one.

Quality for one, the large sets are amazingly well designed. The Titanic for example, its stunning when complete. 20+ hours of entertainment, for those that enjoy the build, for "only" $700 is a good value to me. I know they have fake cheaper Legos, I'm sure quality is lacking, and if I'm not mistaken it's not as organized as Lego brand.
