If you add the motor to this one, I find that it will always fail in some fashion after the 5th iteration. I suspect the elevator mechanism is largely to blame, because of the force it generates when it free falls. In contrast, the original one can be left running continuously all day. I have lights for both.

Because the loop coaster moves around quite a bit more, the pieces loosen a lot faster, which is again why I suspect it fails faster.
