It's an ok deal. These are all made in china, so this is about what they're worth. Cryo deals for $20 come around frequently.

Can't say which is best, as they all use the same steel. Keep in mind these are all stainless steel so they're pretty heavy for their size. For that reason alone I would go for the standard cryo with the one plastic scale.

who cares, American workmanship is no longer existent . Better than paying $400 for a Benchmade that you can fold in half with you bare hands. WE, Reate, Twosuns, and maybe 3 others I can't member offhand make better and more affordable knives . Everything is made in China. If your so pro American throw away all your electronics. If not you're just another hypocrite

If you're interested in a made-in-the USA Kershaw, you can get the Kershaw Leek here for $33 plus if you have a bed, bath and beyond coupon. Also cash back from some site is 15% today for additional discount (BTW, the item *text* description on the website is wrong as I already received mine--it's a *USA made* Leek as pictured on the website)

KERSHAW CRYO 2.75 inches
KERSHAW CRYO BLACKWASH 2.75 inches

KERSHAW ZING SS 3.0 inches

KERSHAW CRYO II 3.25 inches
KERSHAW XL CRYO II 3.25 inches

KERSHAW VOLT SS 3.5 inches

Yes, the 3.5 inches of the Volt are nice. However, I already purchased JSWS Tactical Knife Pocket Folding Knife Survival Camping Knife 440C Stainless Steel 3.7 inches when it went on sale for $18 on Amazon for when I travel to states that allow pocket knives over 3 inches.
.
Now, I am looking for an under 3 inches that I can carry concealed in my pocket to abide by local State law. The Zing would be perfect at 3 inches but I have read complaints that the short curved clip of the Zing sucks. So, I will likely go with the popular highly rated choice, the Cryo in 2.75 inches in blackwash.
Thank you for the mention of the legal considerations. I didn't even think of that being a think for what I view as utility item.

Ordered a cryo and cryo II

as per my original post, the BBB text description of the item is inaccurate whereas the picture is accurate--I have already received mine and it is the USA made leek as pictured on the BBB website "

Theres literally a wholly US made knife right there in the deal list, its just not $20 so people have a hard time grappling with spending more

I've had great experience with Kershaw support, getting a new (free) part I thought I needed to repair mine. I found my Cyro in the dirt at a park and cleaned it up years ago. I'd easily drop $20 to replace it and never regret

You are making me feel like Black Friday ought to be renamed.

It's cool if the new name creator is outsourced to a UK marketing firm. 😂

I understand wanting to buy USA made products and I do buy stuff made in the USA when I can, but not everything made in China is low quality. A lot of Harbor Freight's tools are made in China, and their tools are pretty much the best you can buy. Their Pittsburgh hand tools are better than anything you can find on a Snap-on truck (and at only a small fraction fraction of the cost).

I am a Kershaw fan. Even the Chinese versions. I have 20+. This is a nice knife at a fair price. Will be heavy but that is ok for me. I go thru knives on the farm. Tip for anyone interested. Ebay is the place to get knives. TSA confiscated knives can be had for bargain prices.

Which ones do you like? What kind of prices are we talking about?

Thanks! Had $20 in rewards from who knows what that they kept emailing me about. Came to $13 after VALPAK15 coupon that the rewards.

Edit: Dang it, and I grabbed the original plastic-handled Cryo. I guess a couple knives won't hurt. I don't really have any. I carry a gun but never bothered with knives.

In for a Cryo Blackwash. I'll eventually lose it, but I won't have to shed a tear when I do.

I like all of them. I have multiple of most of these.
6171, 3490, 1385, 1660 (started with this one), 1306, 8300,1730 (Zing deal),1555 (Cryo deal), 8320,1312
They are all layed out as working knives so I grab what I need for that day. A 1660 Leek is typical if I am off the farm. Prices are going up but ~$15 - $20 bucks is what I pay on ebay.
This deal is worth it for the good price/convenience. The 1555 deal is nice size/light weight scales. Would make a great edc. Assisted opening is always nice.
