Can get a replacement if shipping damage but that's unlikely with them well packed. Pro typically cost $150 with sale price rarely lower than $120. Pro is easier by far to use with more than a dozen major improvements over Duo including a real stock pot with handles, no steam burns or dropping a full pot, fine digtal temp control, advanced lid and higher wattage. Ours gets used every day at every meal. Still going strong at close to 3 years.
Have thought of taking these internationally as they don't sell these ones there yet.

The only problem with Ninja is they use Teflon and other materials I don't want/find safe, but Instant uses stainless in some of their items, so here I am.

The Instant Pot Pro (IPP) is easily the best electric pressure cooker I have used. Here is how it stacks up versus Ninja's top of the line Foodi Smart XL pressure cooker that I purchased brand new less than a year ago.
1. Highly reliable. I never have to fidget with the sealing ring on my IP (Pro, but also on other IP models that I own) but I have to always remember to push the sealing ring in my Ninja Foodi. Despite this, I would frequently see NO PRESSURE errors on the Ninja. I ended up not cooking high volume (relative to the pot's max fill level) in my Foodi.
2. Locks automatically. You don't have to remember to turn the pressure knob to sealing on the IPP. You have to do this on the Foodi.
3. Heats up faster. I ran some experiments between Ninja's 6.5qt and IPP 8qt and confirmed that Ninja takes longer to heat up for an equivalent amount of food. Even though Ninja advertises a higher total input power than both of the IPP models, I am guessing the power is distributed between the heating element at the bottom (for pressure cooking) and the heating element at the top (for air frying). Regardless, the Foodi takes longer to reach pressure.
4. Higher quality, safer materials. IPP has a steel pot with handles. The base has a thicker aluminum plate than other IP models, which can help with open-top cooking. Ninja uses non-stick. All non-stick coatings will fail due to uneven expansion and contraction of the base metal and the non-stick layers - this is basic material science. Stainless steel will last forever. I purchased a third-party steel pot for my Foodi so I could use it properly. This was an additional expense of $30 for the Foodi. Also as a general rule of thumb, you cannot burn food during pressure cooking if you follow the directions and have sufficient water/butter/olive oil etc in the pot. I have never had burnt food in my IP despite using it for almost 5 years now.
5. IPP releases steam in a controlled fashion. The Foodi does not. This does mean the IPP takes a bit longer to release steam, but the reduced sound and convenience is worth it imo.
6. IPP has a removable lid so you can wash it easily. The Ninja's air fryer lid does not come off. Also, the Foodi lid will always drip water into the gap between the exterior of the pot and the interior pressure vessel. This is annoying.
The only thing that the Foodi has going for it is the airfryer functionality. In my experiments, the Foodi air fryer functionality is not that great and food ends up cooked unevenly from top to bottom. A dedicated air fryer will do better.
A pressure cooker should, first and foremost, be a great pressure cooker. IPP is the best I have used on that front. Ninja is just inadequate by comparison. I bought another IPP to replace my Ninja Foodi.

I was able to get a Vortex Plus 6 Qt Clear Cook Air Fryer, an Instant Pot Duo Plus 6 Qt, two different sets of 6 Corelle bowls, and a cutting board to replace my old cracked one for $114.75 before tax, and that doesn't even include all the cash back. I end up right around $100 spent in the end.
That's basically $50 each for the Instant Pot and air fryer which would already be lowest of all time for both items, but I also get more free things on top of that.
