Just when I thought I was going to avoid this from Lego.com 😂

I bought it, and Amazon gave me the option to pay over 12 months with the Prime Visa, or over 5 months with any card from what I understood. As far as I know, the 12 month option charges the entire total to your card immediately and then you can opt to pay interest-free amounts each month. With the 5 month option, they only bill the amount due with each new month.

Why there are so many Lego deals this year? I literally have to stop buying every deal them at pops up.😅

This is a good one but IMO the orient express coming on Dec 1 is a more interesting train for $300. Fits on normal Lego track too

Lego has been massively over-produced to keep up with their projected growth, that's on top of raising MSRP by 20% across the board last year.

They were doing so well that Lego has been way too aggressive in their sales growth. They're releasing way more sets now they did a few years ago.

Combine all of this with re-sellers and people's aversion to spending due to inflation in the past year, they have to clear out a lot of stock.

That's the one I'm really looking forward to. Such a great looking set.

I was able to get Target to price match this. But be warned, they do it after the purchase, not before. It's to mitigate the 5% discount from using their redcard.

Might not be the case in 10 years. Oversupply.

They probably have to many large sets produced that aren't selling. They need to discount them. It's also the ones that have been around for a bit. It's a good time to buy if you can.

$350 for extruded plastic. You are being scammed
Lots of R&D that goes into this as well as paying for the IP for Harry Potter. Its how the world works. Cardboard cards with used jersey can go upwards of several thousands of dollars. 38k for a virtual coin. 350 bucks for high quality plastic isnt a bad deal laugh out loud
