Completely useable unit for web browsing, email and streaming. It'll be good for about 2 more years until OS upgrades hobble it.. Well worth $229

Just two more years? LOL. I'm still running a 32GB 6th gen from 2018 and it's still great. This 9th gen should be effective well beyond 2027.

Good price, but Amazon had been selling this at $229 heading into Black Friday. So not a new low, but does match the recent low.

I went with the newer version at $349. Compared both at Target and it just seems so much more modern. This is a good price but a very dated design.

I'm hoping we'll start seeing the 10th Gen dropping. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the 9th Gen, but I'm only making future purchases that include USB C. Important to me, maybe not others.

The new version (10th gen from 2022) has USB-C while this one is stuck with a lightning port.

The target hack to get this version for $211 is what I went with. Honestly not enough difference between the 9th and 10th gen to be worth the extra $100

I upgraded from the 6th gen to this 9th gen. Because my older iPhone has lightening connector and I actually prefer the home button on the front, I prefer this design, for now. But yes, it's definitely not the latest and greatest.. But for the price, it's excellent
