If you want to protect your stuff from a burglary, filling a safe like this is pretty much ensuring that every valuable you have in your home is in a nice "take out box" for the dude breaking in.
Sentry Safes shouldn't even be allowed to use the term "safe". They are nothing more than false security
10 blows with a small hammer to the back of these safes and you are in:

Don't want to use a hammer? Just rock it.

Don't want to rock the safe, or is the safe anchored down? Just use a $.20 resistor (professional burglars carry these), which is what this black box does:

Don't want to wait for your $.20 resistor to arrive from amazon? Simply go to home depot and grab a rare earth magnet and put it in your sock. Here's a costco display safe:

Are you storing expensive stuff ? Hollon's PM series
Are you storing stuff that you really don't want taken from your home, but you are on a budget? AMSEC csc1913

If you want to research legit safes, UL has already did this work for you. TL15 would be entering into very secure safes where there is some other kind of protection to alert you of the intrusion. Vibration sensors, motion sensors, or alarms, a TL15 will protect your valuables.
If you do not have a 2nd means of some kind of alert protection, a TL30 would prevent most, but not all people from eventually getting into the safe. The downside is these start to get really expensive.
Your best bet is to have a TL-15 that is not easily accessible or findable in your home. I understand everyone does not have the means to purchase safes like this, so your next best bet would be to find some kind of RSC1 or RSC2 safe and have it really well out of sight in your home. Again, these will be UL listed, which makes it easy to shop. A UL listed RSC2 safe will offer the same theft protection across the board, however the fire protection and locking reliability will differ from manufacturers.
Pretty much avoid anything you can purchase in a big box store and definitely avoid anything that is sold in sporting goods stores. Research reputable companies like amsec, mesa, hollon, and gardall,
Avoid every company branded with a gun manufacturing name or anything that sounds sporty.

This is for surviving the house burning down.
For theft protection you buy something too big and heavy to carry.

A near century old company that specializes in one type of product. Would rather like to hear their comments about that lol
