300nit brightness for anyone wondering.
These monitors keep dropping but every time I look they are <350nits. That's my cut off. My current LG monitors (27UK600) say "Typical 350nits, Min 280nits"

How is the IPS glow and presentation of white tones on this? Those often seem to be weaknesses on lesser IPS panels.
I would rank it as decent to slightly better than average.

Does this have vesa mounting? I don't see screw holes.
There's a back cover you have to remove. One annoying thing is that the two bottom holes require longer screws than the top two holes. And no screws came with my monitor. So I'll have to eventually order some longer M4 screws to mount it more securely to my monitor arm.

Doesn't look like it has Freesync or Gsync.

on the monitor menu/settings. you can enable VRR and that will enable freesync or g sync (which has to be set on in windows)

Good to know. They should advertise it.

Edit: never mind, comment above claims it's actually there in the menu (although even the manual fails to mention adaptive sync anywhere)

Anyone have any first hand knowledge of these for non gaming purposes?
I just picked this up on the last deal when it was $150. It's fine for a second monitor.

Caveat: It isn't the greatest when it comes to waking up on auto-detect with my Macbook after it's been asleep. Not sure if it's an issue with the M1 not natively supporting multiple external monitors and I'm using DisplayLink Manager to accomplish that. I have to power it off and on for it to detect. Seems fine on wake up using my PC. For the price and size to match my primary monitors, it's fine for me.

Thanks for the post!

Bought 2 for the Kid's new PCs!!! I was going to give them 2 of my older monitors, but I liked the 27" size for them over 32" and the specs for the $ seemed to be worth the jump.

Target also has a buy 3x $70 orders and get back $20 Target Gift card for Red Circle members, so I did 2 different transactions and just need to make one for purchase for that $20 !!! Which put the frosting on top for me.

Thanks again and Happy Holidays!

Let me guess. You have a LG plugging into a mac over usb-c to usb-c or usb-c to DisplayPort?
I didn't catch your reply until now. My setup is laptop (either a Dell Precision 3581 or Lenovo Legion 5i), USB C to DP cable, CalDigit TS4 (the dock is a recent addition), plugged into Dark Matter 34". Now that I have the TS4, I'm considering swapping for a regular DP cable since it's limiting me to 120hz. Just turning the monitor off seems to keep it from cycling like previously mentioned.
