That would be Verizon or T-Mobile. Since they charge only $25 a month on a monthly plan, the saving is only $50 over a year or $4.16 a month. Does not seem to be much of a slick deal.

It's a fair assessment, but Verizon is the only carrier that works for me. Plus, US Mobile doesn't throttle the speed like Visible. I have been with USMobile for exactly 1 year now and the experience is super. Additional $50 saving is a plus for me.

Thanks for the catch, yes its T-mo, fixed. US mobile is already one of the lowest cost MVNO so you'll not see giant savings over their normal rates. Compare $250/yr 30GB to Slickdeals to fav Red Pocket whose normal price of $360 25GB was on sale LY for $300.

So ... saving $50 isn't a slick deal? Huh?

This is my take as well. The hassle of switching for what ends up a zero-sum game is not appealing. If I was Xfinity their mobile deal looked okay, and if you wanted to jump to Verizon while they had the phone+ipad+watch deal seemed okay as well if you had 4+ lines.
Is that deal dead? Sounds pretty good actually

My ongoing Mint Mobile annual plan ends only in April. Can I buy this US Mobile offer now, then activate it in April? If not, is there any other way I can avail of this deal without wasting months left on the Mint plan? Thanks.

Redpocket is the worst. Thought mint mobile and visible were sd favorites ?

Hey mod - can we get one of those tally voting things to name the best sders mvno pick?
Visible is absolute garbage. Mint is right behind it. You should stay away from MVNOs that get deprioritized.

US Mobile just made a big deal about how they were able to get the same prioritization level as the carrier's customers. I'm about to give them a shot because of it. Their prices are also some of the lowest. Moving my family off Mint and Cricket. I like Cricket, but it's become too expensive in comparison.

Don't you need to have 4 lines to get it for $25 a month?

If anyone is interested I believe helium is launching their own plan nationwide for $20 (plus taxes and fees) a month in the coming weeks. Also 30gb data just like this plan. If you give them mapping data, the rewards can easily cover your bill making the service $0 out of pocket

Meh instead of paying 250 upfront for a years service you could just sign up for that 50 days free trial and then continue on the $25 unlimited starter service. Prepaying 250 for 1 year you're only getting 10 days extra service
