Seems to be cheaper than other retailers. I believe shipping is free as well. Open box items seem to be cheaper, and used items typically are even cheaper, if available.

Some people value their traditions more than profits, a concept that's clearly foreign to someone like you.
As common sense is a foreign concept to you.
If ordering is down for Shabbat then the website should be down, too in my book.
But then again all the "pick what we want from our religious texts and disregard the rest at our leisure" is generally the m-o for religions.
So you can miss me with your attempted high and mighty insult bullshit because obviously it IS about the profits if their site is up at all and not a redirect to a page to say they'll be back online tomorrow.
But nice and edgy response on your part. Don't cut yourself on all that.

WTF does the site being up have to do with anything? They're not supposed to sell stuff on Sabbath and they aren't.

This or the plug n play Bambu P1S?
Bambu P1S smaller build volume, has AMS as an option so it can do multi color printing (wastes a ton of filament though) , no multi color printing for K1 ( but rumor is one in the works). Both prints about the same speed (if you value quality, K1 technically prints faster but sacrifices quality to do so). K1 phone app has some annoying adds in it but you can bypass it and print via usb stick or LAN. Creality has market share on 3D printers and many more 3rd party compatable options are available, and will be available. Creality K1 also is open sourced now so you can run straight Klipper on it and modify it as much as you want. Bambu is a locked down eco system with no plans on being open source!
If Bambu labs goes out of business today and you own a P1S you own a paperweight not so with the K1. If Creality goes out of business you load Klipper and continue on. Not to mention if Bambu wants to start charging a monthy fee or through the Bambu cloud say prevent you from 3D printing certain models like those from Defcad Bambu can easily do that. If it isn't open source and relys on the internet you don't own it! These typpes of business practices are fairly common these days so don't discount any company doing it.
Personally I value the open source of the K1 as a very valuable feature and for that alone I would choose the K1.

For me I went with a K1 Max. The P1S seems like a real nice machine, but the fact that BL has be operated on a cloud and you have to sign away all rights to IP. They can take your designs, access your camera etc was a deal breaker.

They access the camera to notify you when you get spaghetti right? Same thing with Creality. Unless Creality doesn't have that warning feature?
Don't care if they have my cosplay designs but yeah if you are a company doing prototyping then stay away from Bambu.

You seem super knowledgeable! I want to print things that won't melt in the car in the sun. Can this do that out of the box?
I don't really want a "be a 3D printer technician" type of 3D printer.
I just did the same research and it led me to the P1S. People seem to agree that it's easier for a beginner and causes less headaches than the Creality. It "just works". It's also got better support and quality, from what I gathered.

I just bought the K1 Max , took it out of the box, ran the startup script ( takes 10 min to self calibrate) then printed a perfect benchy. The plug and play is just fine with the Creality K1. Even a $169 Ender 3 is plug and play these days. The days of having to manually level the bed are long gone.
By People seem to agree are you refering to Youtubers paid by or given free products by Bambu to say such things ( I bet yes) This just means you are watching the wrong shills go watch a few Creality shills and they will tell you the K1 Max is the best
Either printer will work fine, the listed benefits and drawbacks of each are listed in an earlier comment on this thread.

PLA can get soft in a car just look for filament that uses a higher print temperature like PETG or ABS and yes either the Bambu P1S or the Creality K1 max can print these.
Any and all 3D printers can have issues and will have issues over time. You will need to clear a filament jam in a hot end or tighten a belt or replace a worn belt ETC. Kinda no getting around being a 3D printer user without being a 3D printer technician. You can buy a 3D printer kit like a Voron and build it from scratch and learn how it works ( and how to fix it) from the start or you can buy a pre assembled P1S or K1 and learn it later I mean unless you got fat stacks and you can just throw away your K1/P1S and buy a new one every time it clogs up!

Do you value raw specs over reliability?
