This will give you 9 months family for $30 which is $3.33 per months. I stacked 2 and added 18 months to my existing family subscription.
$50 for 12 ($4.17 per month) and $70 for 15 ($4.67 per month) is more expensive if my math is correct.

I did not have a Family Account to begin with. I used 4 of the $30 codes to stack onto my personal account (I just had the free non-subscribed account earlier). I will use this Family subscription to upgrade my personal account to Family, that some users on other threads have commented stating you get 1:1 conversion. I am going to either wait 4 months (because adding this now would exceed max 5yrs) before I apply this Family code to my account OR I might apply it now (in which case I may end up losing those 4 months). I am fine with losing those 4 months because my personal account would be converted to a Family account for the entire 5 year period.
Coming to cost: If adding Family Plan gives me the full 5 years I expect, then the total cost is:
Antonline: ($29.99 x 1 + $34.99 x 3) x 1.08 (I was charged 8% tax) = $145.76.
This deal from Newegg cost $69.99 (Newegg didnt charge any tax which makes this office 365 Family deal even sweeter)
Total: $215.75 ($43.15 per year or $3.6 per month)
What I also got with the above was the following:
1. FOUR XBox Game Codes (I dont have a use for these, would be happy to trade. DM me if interested).
2. THREE NordVPN keys (stackable for multi-year subscription) and I use NordVPN, so this was great for me.
3. ONE AVG Ultimate (Unlimited VPN for a year, from this posted deal). I dont have a use for this, will be willing to trade for a Nord VPN 1 year code. DM me if interested.
This has been a great deal for me personally. Firstly, these codes dont seem to be tied to Antonline or Newegg, but actually controlled by Microsoft (I am yet to confirm this for the Family key because I have not applied it to my account yet). Secondly, for those talking about free Office apps and such, you are right (there is free software that can get your job done), but it depends on each ones needs. For me, more than the usual office apps (Word, Excel..), its the 1TB x 6 = 6TB of cloud space and Teams that I was more interested in. Nowhere can you get this amount of cloud space and access to all of the premium apps with multi-device support and portability for the price of $3.60 a month.
Does activation key from New Egg expire? Do I have to redeem the key within certain period? My 365 account expires in Nov 2027. as maximum is 5 years, I cannot add one more right away. Can I purchase one now and wait until March 2024 to redeem?
Second question, New Egg has one limit per account, can I ask my friend to buy one for me and redeem it in my account?
Appreciate the help in advance.
#2: Once you have a key, I dont think it is tied to the Newegg account holder, its an MS key, so I dont see a reason why you wont be able to apply a second key that someone else bought or gifted you (unless it is from Amazon or BestBuy that run their own subscriptions). I have not tried this, so cannot verify.
If you don't have a MS365 subscription yet, you can even get more out of it by follow @rasambhar's posts below:

I tried to use the Family code after I loaded 3 of the 12-month Personal codes, figuring that would get me to 4 years and 3 months, then add the last 12-month Personal code (at 9 months conversion value) to get me a full 5 years. When I tried to do that I was told that my Personal subscription would be converted to Family, but I would lose some subscription time as part of the conversion. I wasn't getting 1-for-1 credit, but it appeared I was getting more than 9-months for each year, though.
I decided to load the 4th Personal code first, then convert it all to Family at the end. My subscription runs out in mid-August 2028, or just shy of 4 years and 9 months (aka 57 months). Looks like I got about 10.5 months of Family credit for each year of Personal (4 x 10.5 = 42; plus 15 months = 57 total).
$3.42+tax per month, which is still a great deal in my opinion, so thanks for posting. Just wanted to share my experience for anyone else trying to replicate.

4x12x0.85 = 40.8 (round off to 41)
Family plan upgrade = 15
One extra month the first time you convert your free account to a subscribed one.
Total - 41 + 15 + 1 = 57 months (better than applying family code first, followed by personal codes which would give 15 + (4x9) = 51 months).

So the MS Office Subscription boils down to $4.67/month for AVG combo, where ESET NOD32 combo is $5/month
But I went with the ESET anyway, just hoping there are similar package next year, around this time, so don't end up paying $99.99/year eventually.
