Hmmm, this looks interesting. I already use whey isolates. Any benefit to incorporating egg white protein into my regimen?
Nothing is better than whey isolate. I used to own a whey protein company. Whey isolate is the purest form of protein. The process filters the protein from the milk byproduct (whey) down to it's molecular level. Grass fed or any thing like that doesn't make a difference since the protein is being filtered at the molecular level and you're not getting any of the other molecules that are impacted by grass feeding or hormones etc. Find the cheapest isolate and buy it. Don't buy any of the other hype.

"Packaged in the USA" means that the egg whites are almost certainly a product of another unknown country. That plus the prop 65 warning (which is not a catch-all, it usually only appears on food items that grow inside the ground) makes this an easy pass.

Probably due too old science indicating less protein absorption from raw whites vs. cooked and the fear of food-borne illness

The Prop 65 warnings go too far and are on far too many products for the warning to be actually useful. You find them on much more than food products and it really seems absurd and redundant. The warnings are posted on rental cars, lead weights, at airports, chairs, consumer electronics, etc. I even saw one on a Fender guitar. At this point, companies label almost all items just to avoid lawsuits. So while it may not seem like a catch-all to some, I would chalk it up as something very similar. The real problem is that the warning is so abused/overused and people see them so often that almost no one pays attention or cares about the warning labels. It is another example of a well-intentioned law that fails on all levels of real-world application.

This is far more convenient, obviously. Agreed that whole egg whites would be a better source but is completely impractical for many people. Separating egg whites is messy and also wasteful (if you toss the yolks). I spend half of the year traveling for work. Powdered proteins are a convenient way to get my protein goal and even if I wanted to, I could not travel with liquid egg whites (TSA).

I just buy pasteurized egg whites and pour it into flavored seltzer water. No one believes me but it does not really affect the taste as much as it just thickens the seltzer a bit.

would that be cooked egg whites??Does it state where it's sourced from?...?? "WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including Lead which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov [ca.gov]
WARNING: Reproductive Harm - www.P65Warnings.ca.gov"
edited: It had another warning sign that stated like the top warning but didn't list lead, didn't specify any substance.

I would avoid NOW Sports and NOW Foods at ALL COSTS. The company taints all their products with steroids. Corrupt and very unethical. Don't trust their list of "ingredients."

Unfortunately many other companies that make supplements are doing this too, especially the not so reputable ones and those that make amino acid/sports supplements.

Wow, they put Schedule III drugs in their supplements. You should report this to 20/20 or 60 Minutes. This is surely going to be a national scandal.

Thank God for the good denizens of the Internet to provide the objective, factual reporting we need.

Exactly! I've heard there's a small group of lawyers in California who made a living off litigation related to this. Now most companies put it on their products whether they contain it or not, to avoid litigation.

It's a law that they are required to state it. It's a catch all CYA
Required to state if it has lead. Not a catch all. Powders without lead don't need to list it
