I was unaware that Roku actually made TVs. Does anyone know how this compares to Walmarts $400 hisense?

It looks like it might be made by Hisense. I can't confirm but looking at the model number it follows the same formula. This would be a series 4 tv and the one at Walmart is a series 6. I bought the one from Walmart.

My mom just got a 65" Roku branded tv and it works great. It sounds a little different than my TCL Roku tv from Walmart. Sound isn't messed up, the speakers are probably just placed in different spots

There are two different types of Roku TVs, "plus" and "select". This one is the "select" series. I bought a "plus" 65" over the summer and it's the first TV I have bought in 10 years where I didn't need to add external speakers or a sound bar to it. I think the "plus" is supposed to have better sound so I can't speak for the model on sale here. Hopefully someone with a "select" can let us know.

Overall I'm very happy with my Roku brand TV, it's great if you aren't particular about audio or video and just want a TV that you can see, that has a good picture, and one you can actually hear.

You have a link for the Walmart one?

I've been contemplating the 2. I can't figure out rting score for the Hisense though. Happy to see they finally reviewed the Roku branded ones though. Here is the Walmart one. It goes in & out of stock for me.

I have the walmart hisense one. That has dolby vision and plugged in with a cheap onn soundbar offers great video/audio for my bedroom. I really like that both fire stick and hisense have "dialogue enhancers" so i really enjoy my cheap audio set up better than my home theater onkyo setup. The walmart one is similar to the 75a65k which is the google tv version. Rtings has that rated slightly better than this one.

Just FYI i use fire stick 4k. I dont intend to update hisense firmware as thats where i read issue arise after update - so main TVs wifi is disabled

Was worried about lots of folks reviewing badly about walmart delivery, hisense issue etc. none of it thank god for me. Instead of mounting on wall installed on a $30 tabletop mount from amazon

Also note walmart 5yr allstate warranty is only $54 - similar option at best buy i believe is $90

I got the warranty too so at least dont have to worry for 5 yrs

These are not Hisense panels, but they've been rated best in breed/class for TV's for the money. They beat out the TCL 4 series which are on sale everywhere and are vastly superior to both Onn and Hisense. Roku didn't skimp on these TVs, probably won't find a better blackfriday value/dollar than these TVs.

Note: you can get cheaper TVs for sure, but value/quality to dollar spent, these will be the amongst the best.

Can confirm. I have the Select and it is surprisingly good for an entry level tv. Perfect for a bedroom. The Plus would be even better as long as you weren't looking for a gaming tv.

RTings has the Hisense slightly better than this one. I prefer the 75" from Costco at $499 bcuz of the no hassle return policy and 3 year warranty. You have to buy the warranty from Best Buy for about $80 and their return policy is not good.

Lookint at side-by-side at rtings, in up scaling, judder and build quality Hisense is much better. Only area where this is better is SDR brightness

Looking at these TVs side by side, I assure you the Roku is better.
