Yeah, price is not $3.99 after rebate, since its really a store credit. That being said, I've gotten at least $100 in store credits at Menards this year, plus at least this at Home Depot since HD matches the rebate.

These are my go-to batteries, mainly because I have yet to see one leak. Rayovac, Energizer, and Duracell have all leaked on me

anyone who has a Menard's by them and frequents them regularly Knows that the rebate for store credit is not a big deal because on many items Menard's kicks Lowes and Home Depots a$$ on deals. ignorant people trying to sound cool saying hard pass is funny and sad because it misinforms people on good deals

No. If you live near a Menards, home depot will match Menards' 11% rebate by mailing you a gift card. The only advantage is that Home Depot allows electronic submission instead of requiring it be mailed. They don't match these more unique rebate offers at all.

So you pass on an already good price because a better price can be had with an annoying rebate?

You could just not use the rebate, you know, and still have the cheapest 30 pack of apparently good quality batteries

Good deal and haven't had any leaks. Duracell's from Costco leak all the time.
