Interesting; thanks for sharing. I live in a desert climate so static is a problem, especially in cold weather. These do a good job of keeping my clothes static-free.

Unrequested advice: get wool dryer balls. They last longer, it doesn't add extra stuff to the machine and clothes. If want scents, put essential oils on the dryer balls

I used dryer balls for a few months and they shredded my towles and sheets. I noticed wen I bought new sheets, they now say not to use dryer balls. Any advice?

I have used them for over 5 yrs and no issue. I have 2 wool dryer balls in the dryer and dry everything from clothes, to sheets and towels. I'm surprised they ruined your sheets!!. There's also the silicone ones but I don't have experience with those
