Ordered two sets from Amazon and both boxes arrived ripped, beat up and bulging in the centers. Opened them up and there were sockets and broken tray fragments all over the place. 5 out of 6 trays were broken and I was missing two sockets in one set and 4 sockets and an extension in the other. I would make one good set and return the other, but they trays are unusable.

Bought last night and Amex eBay offer already applied. I figured I'd be paying similar to finish out my socket collection with 1/2 drive harbor freight sets, so why not get duplicates for the rest of it. If we get the box, even better.

Eww. For that price, you could buy this set, a really nice set of screwdrivers, some ratcheting wrenches, fill in any seldom used bit you missed, and have a much nicer set.

I like HF in general, and I'm not really a DeWalt guy, but this is a much better deal for better tools and almost as "complete," not that any kit has ever had every tool I've ever needed.

I purchased it online while it was still in stock for pick-up and have until today to pick up. So not sure to cancel that or pick up this Dewalt.

Sure. Buy this Dewalt set, a full Torx set, a full Hex set (both metric and SAE), full e-Torx set, a set of universals, couple of spark plug sockets, breaker bars, screwdrivers, pliers and then a freaking box! Then it's probably close to a complete set as this HF 301 lol. You have no clue.
