This deal or the one from Tractor Supply Co has 253-Piece JobSmart SAE/Metric Mechanic's Tool Set for $40.
The TSC set has Really good reviews and that was before it went on clearance.

The few bad reviews are people complaining about no wrenches. A decent set of wrench doesn't cost that much but they're heavy. So I prefer to have a separate rack or roll of wrenches anyway.

Though for the money, I don't think you can go wrong wtih either set. I would have no worries about waiting until Spring and selling the JobSmart set for more than $40.

Was on the fence, probably don't need most of the set, but SD effect got me. Stacked with 4% CB, discounted GC and AMEX 5 off 15 offer.

Wow, insane, I been eyeing DWMT45226H but price never went down to 150s last few years.
I literally have an extra-large tough box that I believe will fit these trays. Saving me over 100 for a new set. Replacing an old craftsman set with missing sockets broken ratchet

Sure. Buy this Dewalt set, a full Torx set, a full Hex set (both metric and SAE), full e-Torx set, a set of universals, couple of spark plug sockets, breaker bars, screwdrivers, pliers and then a freaking box! Then it's probably close to a complete set as this HF 301 lol. You have no clue.
Sure, because no one who is buying this has any tools to start with, but needs every little niche tool immediately. Not everyone has the same definition of "complete," and not everyone considers any set consisting of only Puttsburgh tools ever "complete," since it won't be complete for long. You have no clue, and you're an argumentative jerk, and a rare addition to my ignore list. You can have the last word, I literally won't see it to respond.

Wow, pretty aggressive 😂
And assumes that everyone needs HIS definition of a "complete" tool set with a "full" set of torx (even though most people don't even know what they're called, and e-torx, which most people will never find a use for. Like everyone buying this has never acquired another tool but needs every single one in his crumby set right now. I guess bigger is better, quality doesn't matter, and typical use case is irrelevant. Be forceful if you can't be right I guess LOL

I've bought Pukesburgh tools, and would never recommend them. If budget is your only concern, you need something specific, and HF is most convenient, sure. But in every other case I'd say DeWalt just might be a better buy, and just maybe a little bit less likely to round off bolts and to break the first time you use them, just maybe. (And by maybe and I mean absolutely, but I'm not trying to be so needlessly agressive)

Are the trays tstack case compatible? I have an empty Dewalt case I picked up for 20 bucks in July. I can get rid of the random sockets and wrenches I have on a bag with this.
Prob not, I have tstak system too, they're a bit narrower than tough

Correct, probably. From what I've seen, things made to fit T-Stak and Tough System boxes are not of the same dimensions, unfortunately.

I always like T-Stak even if it isn't the toughest because that system had multiple drawer options before about any other system. Nice that everyone has them now but they were a glaring omission when every other mobile toolbox system came out. So much more convenient for small and frequently used hand tools.

Dude, we've got many pages of posts, IT DOES NOT COME WITH A BOX. Product number is a digit different, no pic of box for a reason, undeniably low price for a reason. NO BOX. Except presumably a cardboard shipping box, of course.
Got it!

DeWalt just got reamed, finishing dead last on ProjectFarm's mechanics tool set test, so buyer beware.

When I tried to cancel, they confirmed it does not come with the box. But that and ~$5 will get you a cup of coffee, so take that as you will.

I was hoping a Gearwrech set like this [amazon.com] would go on sale since I don't need extra screwdrivers, hex keys, and wrenches, and it's more portable, but I grabbed this Dewalt set plus this box (I think it's the right size) [amazon.com] for $126.61 plus tax all together. This combo is a slightly better deal than the 192-piece set and still relatively portable, plus I won't have to deal with sockets falling out of the case every time I open it, or the sockets not wanting to come out.

Concerning that it came last in the ProjectFarm test, but I haven't watched it yet. Might return this set if it did too poorly, or if there's a good sale on Gearwrench.
