Why would you compare these soaps? 🥸
Yeah but Irish Spring is not Dove.

Irish Spring will always be a lower cost and save you money. But for me Dove is a MUCH better soap.
I do like the dove soap. But I'm very oily and Irish spring dries me out better.

I did not realize how seriously some people take their soaps! 😂🤣

I figured soap=soap so why not find the cheapest one for people who don't care?

I actually am short on soap at the moment and impulse bought the Dove before I looked for the Irish Spring. Now I have both deals coming. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So much for trying to provide a helpful, cheaper alternative for folks looking to save same cash. 😅

This is like comparing JIF Creamy Peanut Butter to Peter Pan Crunchy Peanut Butter 😂

My dad was a cheapo and used to only buy Irish Spring soaps from Costco, and I always ended up having cracked skin during dry seasons. Now that I can buy my own soaps, and have tried other soaps including this particular one, I can tell you this is a far better investment. Not needing to deal with cracked skin at all is more productive and cost saving in the long run.

Having said that thou, this soap does run out pretty fast. I bought a 14 pack in September, and I have almost run of them already.
Shit you got Irish Spring? My dad was yellow Dial.

The Icy Blast Irish Spring 24-pack is a better deal. It comes out to $0.15/oz with the max 15% S&S discount: https://a.co/d/8JzkM3c

The Dove 14-pack is roughly 20-25% more at $0.19/oz with the max 15% S&S discount.
I went with the Irish Spring. Thank you. I've used this before and never had an issues. I like the smell and feel clean when done. It does what a soap is supposed to do. LOL.. Thanks.

Wanted to try the mandarin citrus scent and also got extra fresh instead, which is not my favorite.

I was thinking the same/similar thing... What soap do you, or would you use (serious question)?

Currently using Dove soap bars. Some shea butter variant (given to me by a friends wife who used to work for Unilever). Once it runs out, would love to switch to something properly good. Not some chemical laden sh!te. I don't care what it costs, within reason.

Would this scent be light enough for a woman?

I'm a woman who follows beauty; found out about the Minerals + Sage iteration on a blog, big cult following with men AND women who know their scents. https://www.fragrantica.com/news/...-9408.html

I tried it, love it, and haven't bought anything else since.

My bet, just from the name, is that this would be similar if not more "feminine."

Irish Spring has a very strong, sharp, almost overpowering smell. I prefer the Dove Men's scents.

For those that want to up their soap regime try this with 20% off coupon. Yes it comes out to $4/bar but they are larger and cold pressed so they last longer. Plus I bet they don't have those chemicals people keep complaining about. I have tried all 3 versions and the Charcoal is my favorite but currently OOS and amazon is the only one that sells it afaik.

Note, *not* the "Extra Fresh" scent, despite what the image shows. And note the Extra Fresh seems to be currently only available in an 8 pack not 14 pack.
Quote from CMJDT :
Never bought it but despite the photo the scent is "mandarin citrus patchouli rosemary" so I am guessing it's a less forwardly masculine scent.
Quote from NCSU2008 :
Thanks for this comment!!
Quote from patrick.bateman :
I think this Mandarin scent is actually just Extra Fresh. Both times I have ordered this I have received "Extra Fresh" as the image shows.
Quote from wdslkd :
When I load this product page, it says "Mandarin Citrus/Patchouli/etc", but it shows an Extra Fresh image -- and, it says I've ordered this several times before (and that was Extra Fresh).

It's unclear if they have *changed* the product page now, to be actually Mandarin Citrus instead of Extra Fresh, or if it's just a labelling mistake. I guess we'll have to order one and see what actually comes.
Quote from patrick.bateman :
To be clear, I ordered this yesterday and it arrived as Extra Fresh as well!
Quote from kurizma :
received mine the other day and it was the Extra Fresh scent even though it showed as Mandarin during checkout

Extra fresh is mandarin citrus, rosemary and patchouli. Not sure why they label the note breakdown. You're getting the correct product though.

I wish I could scan the bar codes on all of these soaps with the Yuka app.
