My cancellation request is pending -- says normally takes two business days to get a response on it. I still went ahead and ordered the 45L though because it was such a ridiculous deal. I had to open a new HP account because they only let you use the 10% off coupon once per account.

That was my concern, I did not want to have 2 computers coming my way if they did not cancel the first order.

I also created another account to quote up the 45L deal. I haven't pulled the trigger though due to the above.

OK, I pulled the trigger on the 45L, Hopefully HP does not give us any issues cancelling our first 40L orders.

Pre-Tax, I'm at $925 using all available discounts previously listed and that includes an upgrade to the RTX 4070 GPU card.

I was debating whether to upgrade to the 7700X CPU or update the GPU. Based on pricing and overall system benchmarks, the GPU upgrade made the most economical sense and offered more benchmark improvement than the CPU would have..

Glad I pulled the trigger late last night on the 45L. It looks like they increased the base price by about $200 overnight. They must be getting enough activity on this deal or they would not do that.

Yeah, the 45L deal seems to be dead. They are changing the prices so quickly and frequently now, I would recommend anyone ordering to look at all the options before placing the trigger. At the moment, this 40L deal is the best one again right now.
