Personally, I've always found a series to binge and even if they do "expire" you chat with CS and they will give them back to you to use.
Coupled with the seemingly non stop 2 for 1 credit sales, this brings it down to 5.10 a book. Buying it at cash price used to be about 15 each bc that's what the credits used to cost. Not many good books worth buying for less than 12 bucks, even on sale. Credits seem to be the way to go.

For those interred, most the Marvel comics are down to $2.58. They're only about 5 to 7 hours long so I never felt they were worth a whole credit, but they're a pretty good deal at this price.
A few other interesting titles I found.
Kitchen Confidential $6.73
A few books in the Orphan X Series for $3.66. It's a Jason Bourne type action thriller series.
Kingkiller Chronicle, Book 2 $4.35. Not sure if book 1 was on sale.
A couple of Dirk Gently type of comedies.
Will Save the Galaxy for Food $3.04
Differently Morphous $4.26
