Every Audible title is on sale. I noticed only about 20% of my wishlist was discounted in the 80 percentile. Most of the site is 49-50% off.

I'll throw in some recommendations, tho I already own them so am unable to see the discount percentage these titles have:

The One by John Marrs
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab
The Throwaway Children by Diney Costeloe
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir

If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Be careful about what you pick if you're a member. They are now offering 5 credits for 55.99 (11.20 each) if your not a member, you might want to consider. You can endlessly buy credits at this pricewhen you run out and it's actually been better than the free promos and discounted annual prices they had in the past.

Personally, I've always found a series to binge and even if they do "expire" you chat with CS and they will give them back to you to use.

Coupled with the seemingly non stop 2 for 1 credit sales, this brings it down to 5.10 a book. Buying it at cash price used to be about 15 each bc that's what the credits used to cost. Not many good books worth buying for less than 12 bucks, even on sale. Credits seem to be the way to go.
To whomever decided the sale banner should pop up on every single books page: I hope you get a strange and inconveniently placed rash.
Grabbed a couple dozen titles from Brandon Sanderson, Thomas Sowell, and others for less than $3 each, sometimes $2 a piece. Thanks OP!

A paid membership can hardly be considered "free". Spotify sells audiobooks just like Amazon. The 15 hours/month with the paid membership doesn't even cover a single book in many cases.

I bought the Omega Force series by Joshua Dalzelle on the last sale. 15 books so far
and most are $2.43 a book during this sale.
Really fun series.
Wish his Terran series was on sale

If you want free, just about any library has an app for free audio books. You get what you pay for.

What am I missing? I'm showing this title being $12.48 and most titles are at least $6. I just got in on the $5.95 with the $20 credit special, but I'm not seeing these ~$2 deals being posted.

Did you try turning it off and turning it on again?

Two audiobooks I listened to over 10 years ago that stick with me to this day because of the narration:

The Invasion of The Body Snatchers read by Kristoffer Tabori

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy read by Stephen Fry.

Audible rule of thumb is to strategically allocate credits for more expensive audiobooks, especially those exceeding the monthly subscription cost, to maximize savings. Save credits for pricier titles and take advantage of cash purchases, particularly for lower-priced or heavily discounted audiobooks.

The most common discount we get here in SD is the Premium Plus Annual—12 Credits $99.50 = $8.29 per credit. I would be looking to cash purchase anything below $8.29. We recently got the YMMV Premium Plus Annual—12 Credits $75.00 = $6.25 per credit. I am looking to cash purchase anything below $6.25.

Your recommendations are to my liking... already read or listened to all of them. Actually just finished Project Hail Mary. Fist my bump! Pretty funny stuff. LMAO

Here are a few I listened to in the last couple of months that I liked, in no particular order. I don't really have a fave genre, anything interesting and well written/narrated will do...

Alan Watts - Just So
Neal Stephenson - Interface (not bad but prefer Cryptonomicon and others)
Amor Towls - A Gentleman in Moscow
Timothy Snyder - Bloodlands
Kim Stanley Robinson - Goldcoast
Dan Simmons - Hard as Nails
Andrzej Sapkovski - Witcher Series
Richard Russo - Nobody's Fool
Salman Rushdie - Satanic Verses
Ted Chiang - Stories of your Life
Michael Greger - How Not to Diet
Margaret Atwood - MaddAddam Series
James Clavell - Shogun
Miguel Ruiz - The Five Levels of Attachment
Jodi Picoult - The Book of Two Ways
David Mitchell - Cloud Atlas + Ghostwritten

I know, wild mixture... Wave
