Bought it locally today and will return it tomorrow. My old low-end wired Sennheiser headphones sound better. They sound muffled and lifeless. Equalization doesn't help. I had low expectations to begin after seeing the frequency response graphs at Soundguys and Rtings. But they still shocked me with their lack of detail and treble.

White noise won't fix it? Senns are usually pretty good

I ordered the 450bt recently for $130 and I thought they sounded pretty good compared to other noise cancelling headphones I've tried, but the noise cancelling wasn't great. However, at $70 I'd seriously consider these if I didn't just buy some sonys

Buy 'em and try' em. Return if you don't like 'em

My 450BTs I bought in 2019 for like $90 are still going strong. The stock earcups have terrible durability though, had to spend a couple dozen to get aftermarket ones. They still sound great and last over 25 hours. ANC is garbage though.

I have the 450BTs and they're certainly not the greatest and honestly slightly uncomfortable. However I just keep going back to them, for the price I think the sound quality and battery life is unbeatable.
