It's cool. After you do this too many times, they'll just ban your household from making Amazon purchases due to excessive returns. You'll never know when you're about to trigger the ban.

They dont ban the household, just that one account. But then I just made a new account and linked prime again...

the ban is essentially them blocking you from logging in completely. you call and they wont even help you.

they also pre ban you, nearly every order from my account now needs a delivery code. they likely have their systems monitor how much money they make from each account, I am likely a money loser for them.

Just price adjusted a previously price matched purchase at target. Done within a few mins via chat. $129 -> $89 -> $79. Thank op!

It's so ridiculous that they do this. I've been told the same several times as well lol. I suppose the wasted return shipping is more than cancelled out by the non SD people that don't exercise their right to price protection.

Also, if you chat with Amazon just get yourself a human, and then immediately ask for a supervisor. They'll tell you that the supervisor will also tell you to pound sand about price protection… but usually they'll come in and throw you either Amazon credit to your account or a one time use promo code in the amount of the refund. Gotta it many times in the past.
