For the 3rd gen 2010-2015 Prius owners, these are listed as an acceptable alternative size on the Discount Tire website. Only results in a 2% odometer difference.

Plenty of good options cheaper than this on Amazon after a quick check. I install at Firestone for $80 which includes Lifetime Rotations and when we get new vehicles, we always buy the discounted lifetime alignment on January 1 which is the highest discount they have. Other options include:

Bridgestone Ecopia EP150 185/65R15 88 T - $74.64
Nexen N'Priz AH All- Season Radial Tire-185/65R15 88H - $77.41
Cooper Endeavor All-Season 185/65R15 88H Tire - $96.97

Yokohamas or the Goodyears from Walmart?
Goodyear...stronger tire and better grip if you buy "V" rated speed. Yoko is quieter, but you'll need professional sound pressure meter to capture the difference. At this price, the Yoko wins by a mile.

Key is a professional balance job. Position the red or yellow dot on the tire at the valve stem area. Reposition the tire if you need to add more than 1 oz to balance. I static balance my tires to 1/8 oz. No noise, no vibration regardless of brand. I don't waste $ on cheap Chinese tires.

The Yoko costs $22.50 EACH. I can buy 3 Yokos for one Ecopia. The alignment should stay true unless you hit a large pothole or curb. If the car doesn't pull or vibrate and the thread wear is even, then why waste $ on an alignment? A quality alignment job requires calibrated equipment and experienced technician. The technician will check for suspension problem before the alignment.

these were fine for my older compact car
not good in bad winter weather, but in bad weather i stayed inside
what was important was that they were very cheap at the time, and i would get at least 50K miles on them before they started to get weird. tread was OK but they wouldn't drive well

this is a smoking hot deal
i was paying double tire for these back in 2009

As a self proclaimed SD historian, I can't recall a better tire deal. If you've never used Yokohama they are great tires.

These Yoko's are a little better than the GY Reliants but a little lower then the GY Outlast.

Can Discount Tires replace tpms on the tires? If so, will it be cheaper if you supply the sensors? Also, is it cheaper if buying tires from them?

Wow what a deal.

I'm going to switch from 195/55R15 to this 185/65R15 and roll the dice.

Lol 10% difference in diameter (going bigger). Let's see how it rolls on a '98 Integra.
