I play a lot of Board games with friends. Recently got Earth it is a very good game and one of my favorites (tableau engine builder). Khora surprised us with how good it was and Red rising is also a favorite.
This is actually a known loophole for years now which Target for some reason refuses to correct. I won't pretend to understand why they allow it to continue, though I don't agree with it it ain't my business, but at this point I feel they're kind of showing they are fine with it.

Anyone know what happens if you try this with Amazon? Do you get a proportional refund or do you lose the discount all together?

I actually loved Red Rising the series very game of throne with sci fi mixed in .... never knew it had a board game
I love the series as well, actually the whole family does, so when I found out about the game last year and it was on sale I had to get it! The game quickly became one of our favorites, but they did Darrow wrong with his image on the game card.

Is it fun for people who didn't read the series? I'm the only one who read it in my family and I've heard it's only fun for fans of the books and the lore.

The fans will think it is great because they will be able to put a faces to the names we have grown to love, but the few people that I have played it with liked it. They made it fun to build the best hand of cards you can while taking advantage of the special abilities of the cards you are acquiring and giving away.

I am a big fan of Stonemeier games so I snagged the collectors edition when it came out.
After playing it several times I can tell you it's not a good game. It's quite flawed.
To put it bluntly, you spend the first half of the game trying to get all the cards you need and then once you have them you spend the second half waiting for the game to end so you can score them.
