I don't know if it's bad luck, but these batteries always seem to burst after a while in things or just sitting around. I've had better luck with home depo hdx.

I've had good luck with the Rayovac, much better than Duracell, which I will never use again.

The only way to prevent leaks it seems is to go with rechargeable batteries.

Remember reading somewhere that Rayovac is manufactured by Energizer. Basically, it's the same battery. Buy this good deal.

Looks like the math is better in the Lowe's deal. Check that thread. Seems to be split between folks who love these batteries and folks who had expensive gear ruined.

Wish this was all AA. Don't need that many AAA.

Are Rayovac Batteries any good? The last time I bought Rayovacs several years ago they did not last.

Owned by Energizer but the packaging says "Duracell-level power." I guess they don't want to compete with themselves.

You got that right!
They destroyed a couple of digital deadlocks
and some remotes.
NEVER EVER AGAIN.
I just threw out my remaining Rayoleaks,
and made sure none were in anything I have.
I submitted a claim to them - for damage to a lock and 3/4 of the pack was wet in acid, picture etc Got NOTHING.
I have never seen anything like it. Dollars Store batteries are better.

Never had any of these leak, but heard stories. I definitely wouldn't keep them in products that I don't use very often.

I have never tried the high energy model these, but I have a few boxes of the Rayovacs AA and AAA in this same container of 36 that I bought not too long ago and they leak OFTEN and randomly in devices and even in the container brand new and never used!! Stored perfectly in a cool environment always and these are JUNK! Wish I never bought.

I have swapped away from Rayovac batteries. Like others have said, they leak and destroyed a few of my flashlights and other electronics. Had to clean out a couple remotes too! The ones in the package even burst and ruined the rest of the pack. Never again Rayovac!
