This stuff is not great compared to other Lavazza varieties. Super Crema kicks its ass.

let me repeat what everyone is saying, Super Crema is much better, I am almost finished with the last bag I ordered during a previous sale, and couldn't be happier to be back at Super Crema. two 2.2lbs bags of super crema for $27 totally worth it.

Just voicing my opinion. Not trying to be a jerk or anything. As many other people in the thread prefer other beans over this one. This is very subpar.

FYI In my local warehouse these are $14.4x consistently per bag

I've going through all their flavors with a super auto and being a dark roast black drinker, all Lavazza's coffees are a light medium roast at best. Even super creme, even Gran Crema Barista. There is a reason why after shipping bags across the Atlantic the beans are still so inexpensive. Super Crema in a milk drink isn't bad

isn't espresso the method used to extract flavor from the beans and not so much the beans themselves?

Yeah I use this product for my espresso because it's a cheap bean that's presumably for espresso, but the labeling confuses me. I would have thought they meant "espresso roast", as in a darker roast, but the package also says "medium roast", so I'm left with "wtf even is this?" haha

Most cafes use medium roasts for their espresso now, it's very trendy. I grew up with the traditional dark roasts for espresso so Ive never been able to get used to it personally.
