Both are wrong information. It has two SODIMM slots and can even go 96 GB using nrwly released 48GB DDR5 memory sticks And It has TB4 port as well which supports Power Delivery. Check the below Video for the details about the Helios 16 series (2023) Port selection.

Very large power brick. Not as big as the old msi and alienware ones but close. The lack of vapor chamber and the need to ramp up loud fans for good cooling make this undesirable. The magnetic swappable vent covers on the back are so stupid. The laptop is already deeper than many 17" laptops because of wasted space. The front area in front of the battery is also even more wasted space. It's just empty with a cable running along it. You are getting a big laptop because you want good cooling, not because you want wasted space. Other things irritating are the Ethernet on the side instead of back. The software seems to be unreliable in setting proper power limits and thermal control. It just all feels bad in general. Speakers are also meh supposedly. I would just get the omen 17 if you want cheap and the legion pro 7i even at the not so great 2k price just because it's a more thoughtful polished package. Legion has much smaller brick too.

It's not very big for a 330W Power Supply, smaller than Dell and MSI's chargers of same power. It weights around 2.64 lbs.

How does this compare to the Lenovo Legion 16 Pro w/ 4080?

i hesitated on the $1899 deal (/sigh) and missed it. It's now $1999 but back-ordered til Dec 11. It does have a TB4 port and this doesn't. Any other differences? Build quality? Noise? Screen?

I have the Legion 7i 4080…. It is vastly superior. I compared both models in person at the store on 9th Ave.

Noit required. I don't argue with people who don't know anything and stll try to act as Expert. But then again, you probably don't know how to use Google. So here is one.

I think there's some confusion here about "non-upgradeable". Some are taking this to mean the RAM is soldered in (like one stick is on Zephyrus laptops). I looked on the Acer website and it does say max 32GB of RAM. B&H says the RAM is replaceable.

So it seems like you can replace both sticks but you can't get more than 32GB.

Also, there is no TB4 port, so that part is true.

None of you know how the maximum Ram Capacity works. For almost a decades now, the maximum Ram capacity in a Laptop, depends upon the maximum Ram supported by the CPU, number of memory slots and the Capacity of the memory stick and no manufacturers are known to limit that artificially for a very long time.
For this laptop, it has two slots, the CPU supports 128GB memory and right now in the market, 48GB DDR5 modules are available. So, if you put those, you'll get 96GB.

Now to answer your question, you will see that Maximum Ram 32GB or similar thing in a lot of manufacturers' product page like this one. That basically implies the maximum Ram the manufacturer is selling the Device with, not the absoulte limit.

Lenovo, no in their psref page, has updated that as maximum available, instead of maximum supported but most of the other manufacturers still follow the old way, hence creating confusing.

And regarding, it does have. There are plenty of reviews available and I even gave a link in my past post. Check that out.
