Lol, it's definitely a spin on the lack of a feature.
However, I bet I've used the disc drive on my Series X like three times in two years.

The Series S supports up to 1440p. So in theory, you are fine with the S.

I think I played the movie Gravity from Blu Ray once and used backwards compatibility of the 360 version of Modern Warfare 2 a couple times.

The convenience of switching games without getting up to change the disc is huge. Game pass also further negates the need for the disc drive. I guarantee that this is the last generation of consoles that include a disc drive as an option even.

Don't listen to the other guy. Get the X. Some games are playing at 24 fps on 1440. It's not good.

Thanks, that was my concern. If the S can only "technically" play games at 1440p (where the frame rate gets bad or it ends up switching down to 1080p) then I should prob get the X.

I picked up a Series S for $200 on a Facebook Marketplace deal last year. I haven't seen it touch that price since. In my opinion, this is a great price for a great little console. I have both the S and X.
