Ikea has increased their prices so much that its not worth it anymore. Only buy when they have a huge discount.

Ikea used to be value store. Now it's just another import store with odd ball pricing. I just wish companies just sold stuff at same price instead of all the marketing dance

I don't know if this is functionally true or enforced, but worth noting IKEA's website lists a maximum usage of 4 gift cards per online order https://www.ikea.com/us/en/custom...b3d91.html So if you went for $150 gift card, and got 3x $10 bonus cards, you'd be at the per purchase online cap.

HU they are killing/killed their F&F bonus discount that you gave an email address away for (unless you're smart and use a spam account) so goodbye 5% discount. We haven't shopped there in a year now because of their blatant greedflation and likely never will again now. Just another brand that got too fat in the head and will have their day of reckoning like all the rest that have fallen.

Last time I bought this deal I think I had 950 GC plus a gazillion bonus cards. Took forever at checkout in the store to ring them all up when I used them to pay for a large purchase.

Got $400 gc plus 8 bonus cards. Main gc took an hour and a half to arrive. Bonus cards were immediate delivery.

Was able to use all gc's (9 total) on a single item online order, plus the $35 family discount. No issues at all using over 4 gc's.

Either way never buying from IKEA ever again, and if someone from CORP is reading this fark you too.


TL;DR

This is fake sale if you planning on reselling or buying through their website. They jack up the prices on their website when these offers come out and gift card resellers that work with retailer all of sudden "can't accept this particular gift card at this time" and the ones that do will only accept it for .70 on the dollar or lower. There most likely using the IOU's for business purpose and for investing. They win either way and they know it.
Stop buying things to resell ugh not everything is a side hustle let people that want to get stuff get it a discounted rate

Thanks for posting. I was able to use 22 gift cards on an order.

Also, you can use the Cyber Monday IKEA Family discount on multiple orders. So, instead of ordering everything at once, I got a $35 discount on each order over $250.
